I panic bought a similar thing on poshmark and it smells SO BAD of strong detergent. I appreciate that it was washed but WHY must it be doused in a cheap perfume smell???

I wasted probably 80 hours of work over the last 3 months on an NSF grant proposal that was just about ready for submission. It’s one that will almost certainly not get funding back from this administration. This is a tiny complaint because my job doesn’t depend on it, just research funding. Teaching focused college for the win, I suppose.

They’re doing construction near my office this spring and no one thought to tell me that the construction involves one of my office walls.
EDIT: Now I’m being told they’re actually ripping up my whole office and I was supposed to be out last month?? What the actual fuck??? I do not have time for this!!

There seems to be some confusion about whether or not I actually need to vacate my office depending on who I talk to and they’ll get back to me “next week” (while I’m supposed to be on a relaxing vacation lololol)
So I guess TBD whether the complaint is tiny or not
(Yes I do have someone charged to check my office every day while I’m gone and alert me to shenanigans.)
