Tiny Complaints

Well, I don’t know what Pact is but now I’m interested. I just returned three pairs of jeans today to Macy’s because I ordered, and supposedly got, petites. But the only way they would have met the top of my foot is if I had the waistband around the top of my chest! So, so annoying. I’m 5’ 2" and I ordered petite! That should have worked. I know I’m short but I’m not like 4’ 10" or something.

You are much, much smarter than I am :joy::sob: you know what I’ve bought in the past for jeans? 34-36” inseams. Lmaoooooo. Maybe I will return them, I’m probably in denial.

Can’t find a legitimate source for the Kiehls coriander hand cream anywhere :frowning: I hope they haven’t stopped making it!!

Sibling is great, sibling’s family is great, but sometimes it just surprises me how different we are. Not with most of the big stuff, fortunately, but things like the sheer amount of food that gets thrown away (not even talking about Thanksgiving here, just ‘oh, no one likes leftovers, just toss the rest of the steak’), the number of random single-use things that go into the trash, the inability to repair anything.

I mostly keep my mouth shut when I visit since I don’t have little kids and there are definitely things that happen for expedience reasons that make sense for them vs me, allthough I do always say that I’m happy with leftovers for lunches both because I am and because watching steak go into the trash hurts, but…guys, if your older car has been having trouble starting in the mornings and now after the first really cold night the engine won’t turn over, you don’t need an expensive tow and really expensive emergency holiday diagnostic. You need a new battery. Use the other car today and call AAA tomorrow (or let me do it, but I already know the answer to that is ‘oh, no, we have <some protection plan thing I wouldn’t pay for>, you should just relax while you’re here’).

Yeah I can make do with 29" if I want it to be an ankle legging/jogger, but I need 30" or 31" minimum if I actually want full length. And surprise! Most generic women’s inseams are not that long :expressionless: My beef with Pact is if your standard inseam is 27" you have NO business not offering a long size.

Oh. Maybe I should order from them.

From what I can tell (I looked at the site yesterday,) most of their inseams are 29in.

Oh interesting! The thing that keeps getting advertised to me (and the thing I was most interested in) were these joggers, which are 27": Women’s Airplane Jogger made with Organic Cotton | Pact

That is interesting. I’m more interested in wide leg pants, and every wide leg option I clicked on said 29" inseam.

I clicked on this one, labeled cropped, and it is 26". So maybe that would actually work for me, but if you’re not short, I can see how 27" not labeled cropped is quite annoying. 1 inch does not make the difference between cropped and regular in my opinion.

My friend is leaving a terrible relationship and I’m being a goddamned hero, finding her furniture. It’s true, I’m an actual angel.

Friend wants a specific piece of furniture. I found it for a good price.
The seller lives a long drive from me and has flaked three seperate times.

Nobody else is selling this thing in good shape. The seller sucks so bad.

That’s my story.

I guess they’re intending the cuffed pants/leggings to be ankle pants, and the wide leg stuff to be longer and closer to the floor? But only for people of a very specific height lol

Try out Western Union, you can do bank account to bank account or credit card to bank account. At least for me in Europe it is much cheaper for internationally money sending than my bank.

I did look into WU and I think it would be cheaper! But there doesn’t seem to be a way to send USD and have someone also receive USD instead of local currency.
