I have had an item on the kitchen table for 3 months to be delivered when I saw the person.

I saw the person and completely forgot to bring the item.

Why in fuck are trash cans so expensive?

The lid mechanism snapped off of ours. Boyfriend went to Lowe’s and HD to look for a new one and they all were like $100 for a big one. The fuck? Literal trash goes in it!

Why does it feel like everything is $100 these days

I hate when that happens!

Indigo has screwed up their wishlist system, and now my MIL is having trouble getting us our holiday presents.

It took like 7 replies from different customer service people from Joann Fabric to unsubscribe me from the catalog list (not the email list as they keep assuming, I can do that myself)! But finally I got through to someone and it’s done.

I was holding off ordering new shoes for Kiddo because I thought the place we ordered from was going to do a B1G1 sale and I was thinking of getting him two sets of shoes, but they’re only doing 25% off so I guess I’ll just get him one pair of new shoes which was the original play anyway.

Bigger but still tiny complaint: They’re sold out of red in his size. His only request was that he wanted red shoes. Bah.

Gig decided to set up a 20 minute call tomorrow at 930am so I can’t go to my preferred weights class at the gym. And if I want to hit my 16 classes a month, the only thing that makes sense is to leave the house this evening, go out into the cold dark and experiment with a new class/instructor.

I really want to tell them to go away, but I also would like 15k to put into my rrsp before Mar 3.

I bought my mom a phone but had to pay NY state sales tax (Oregon doesn’t have sales tax but has high income tax instead) :frowning:

Pact assumes I am much, much shorter than I am :sob: I checked to make sure I didn’t order capris by mistake. I did not. These are so short. The shirt too. :sob::sob::sob: pretty sure I’m 0/5 items here.

Hmmmm that is awkward. I was thinking of ordering some stuff from them but I rely on the models being much taller because I like my stuff longer than the current cropped trend.

I’ve tried it on- it’s short but not unwearable on me. The pocket leggings sit above my ankle bone. Probably 3-4 fingers above the bony prominence? The basic v neck t shirt flares above my natural hip, def on the shorter side for basic shirts but not a true cropped shirt. Hope that helps! Happy to send measurements of any seams you want to check.

“Not unwearable” does not seem like a good acceptability level for new clothing you paid full price for.

I went to pick up dinner and in the 10 mins I was gone the cold, dry air made the skin on my face crack.

This is legitimately a high bar for me finding clothes. Acceptable is better than “pants with actual damn holes”. And thus. I soldier on.

I am also unhappy about the Pact basic T length. I think they’re going for the cropped look, because the size that fits me everywhere else is short, and the size up is acceptable enough but is baggy and still short for my preference.

I am so over the cropped thing. I was in old navy trying buy some tanks and tees and everything was tiny.
Please let me buy normal length basics, I beg.

I keep getting instagram ads for them and I’ve wanted to buy, but I’ve learned the hard way to check the inseam. I think Pact was like 27" which is a no-go for me. I should really block them lol

UGH fine I’ll go back to my previous plan of planning to make my own and never getting around to it.
