That terrifies me somehow. Cars shouldn’t have computers dammit!!
“Open the pod bay doors”
“I’m sorry, I can’t do that Panda”
“Panda, would you like to play a game?”
Much better!
Both are good and totally what an evil car would do
I swear to god if this is a cold sore
GET ON THE PHONE RIGHT NOW WITH TELAHEALTH AND GET SOME VALACYCLOVIR.
I always have some on hand and got a cold sore this weekend. I was able to jump on the meds and it only lasted two days.
My old OBGYN hooked me up and gave me a prescription for like 60 pills so I am set for a while.
The most ridiculously tiny of complaints. Partner wakes up super early for work and always brings me coffee in bed because I am very spoiled. The past two days I didn’t see the coffee when I woke up and assumed he hadn’t brought it yet. But it was just slightly hidden by other stuff on the nightstand and I didn’t see it while sleepy and not wearing glasses. So by the time I find the coffee it has been cold.
I keep Abreva around! Well, the Walgreens version
I am $1.48 away from the P&G Costco promotion for a $25 gift card. I need to find one more thing to get us over the edge
Tooth paste, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
I’m thinking conditioner (side TC is I always run out of shampoo first which I suspect is on purpose lol).
I just don’t wanna go back to the store lol.
I carefully made sure we have bread for back to school. Yesterday we got an email about class allergies including sesame. My bread has no ingredient list, probably no sesame and I guess tomorrow is not a sandwich day
We got a notice from the dentist that we’re fully responsible for an appointment Mr. Meer had to the tune of $608. Looking at it, they just didn’t have the updated insurance card (we stayed with Guardian but switched from employer-provided to an individual plan).
My TC is that the appointment was back in January and this is the first we’re hearing about it.
My dentist always wants me to pay upfront before things have gone thru insurance based on their “estimate” of what insurance will cover for me. Hard pass. I decline every time.
Why are dentist billing set ups so sketchy!!
eta: They tried to bill me 90$ + for a cleaning and I was like, “no those are covered fully by my insurance.” She “hmmm-ed” as if perplexed I would question it. I also always decline to pay for fillings until I get a post-insurance bill, which is also something they would prefer I did not do. TOO BAD SO SAD.
To be clear, I actually like my dentist. It’s just everything else that is Not My Favorite At All.
I paid the endodontist the amount they asked because I assumed they knew what they were doing and they had to send me a refund check once the insurance kicked in.
See and I just. Do not think it’s in their interest to be timely or correct about said refunds SO.
This makes me wonder…my dentist always tells me how much things are before they happen (like the actual price since they run it through insurance for quotes), and I usually nod and say thank you and move along to get whatever done. Now I’m curious if I’ve been ignoring cues that they wanted me to pay up front for…years.
I mean, I’m not going to, I’m perfectly fine waiting until the actual bill arrives, but I’m curious.
I have a very weird cramp on the inside of my foot.
Correction, we got notice from Guardian. The dentist office never got in touch with us because they had the wrong address. When I talked to them just now there was a note about the wrong address, but I guess they never tried calling Mr.Meer to confirm the correct address? And when they were pulling up Mr. Meer’s information at first with his common name, the receptionist said “Date of birth [not his birthday]?” so now I’m wondering what the hell his record looks like overall. We’ve been going to this dentist for years.
All this because he had a mid-January appointment and he didn’t update the insurance that changed January 1st. They’re looking into it now and will call back later.
