I haven’t worked in six weeks. I think I forgot how. I’m only here for half a day too, it really shouldn’t be this hard to get back in the groove! It was tough being home for the first few weeks, but then I started getting used to it.

My jaw is all swollen on one side. Best guess? Infected salivary gland. This is stupid and annoying. It’s a little tender to the touch but no pain, but I look absurd.

I forgot how much of an ass Karma is when I try to sleep in. Like running across the bed, jumping off my stomach, walking in the window blinds, yelling at the window, getting into shit in the closet (usually plastic bags) kind of ass.

I have another order whose tracking is stuck on “pre-shipment,” which makes it look to the customer like I didn’t even mail it. I mailed it Wednesday. It is now Saturday. It’s not a thing I can replace, so hopefully I don’t have to refund it. I did warn her that the PO does not seem to be scanning packages and/or is sitting on them for long periods of time and to please be patient. Hopefully she doesn’t get angry.

We went to buy Mother’s Day flower baskets for the moms. Almost to my parents house and hubs realized he lost his bracelet. Panic ensued. It’s ridiculously expensive and holds sentimental value for him. It used to belong to his father who gave it to hubs as a wedding gift. My Mom’s flower basket tipped over on the frantic drive back to the store and got a bit wrecked, but it still looks sorta ok. Best news is we found the bracelet. It fell off when hubs took off gloves just before getting into the car. It looks like someone may have ran it over. Super relieved. But this still really sucked.

I knocked over a jar of pepperoncini in my fridge and because I never put lids on tight now there is a pool of pepperoncini juice all over my kitchen floor and the entire inside of my fridge.
