For their processing samples
Boo I just had a checkup today and got blood drawn right in the same clinic.
Captive audience, monopoly, fewer, bigger labs is cheaper than many small ones. It’s a corporate move that hurts normal people. Instead of getting blood drawn I bought a painting and groceries. Take THAT, corporate labs.
I’d love to see a picture!
I really don’t want to do my annual review but it is due today. I have not started.
I want a macchiato.
I would share if I could.
At least you have the most amazing Latte!
This is true.
Called out at lunch. I just can’t make myself go back to work today. I don’t know what it is about Fridays, but back to back calls where all the English speaking clients were absolute assholes.
I have no luxury caffeine beverages
My neighbours don’t know how to burn stuff properly and insist on filling our yard with smoke every week while they try to bbq. I need to discuss it with them, but don’t know how to not just scream at them that my house is full of their smoke…
I was sleeping quite comfortably on the couch until the cat decided that he Wanted That Spot and yelled at me until I woke up. Now I’m in bed but wide awake and the cat is sleeping quite comfortably on the couch.
Both cats are now unable to keep food down this morning. I do not want to have to take them to the ER as it means sitting out in the cold for probably a good 6 hours since we can’t go in now. My regular vet isn’t open weekends. But if this goes the way it did earlier this week, when Boy Kitty threw up constantly for 24 hours plus, i’ll have no choice.
Also, the light in our pantry broke and we can’t get it fixed since the mayor said we shouldn’t let people in our homes if it’s not an emergency.
I fucking hate covid.
My basil is trying to flower.
I’m hungry and am craving specific takeout but the restaurants are not open yet.
People on Buy Nothing who back out days after you put out the stuff for them because they didn’t look at the map earlier. I am polite but seriously annoyed.
Period came a week early. Was wearing white underwear.
Not really tiny, but I want to complain somewhere. Our TV has developed this black line through it. It’s not even two years old! I’ve never had a TV crap out on me so early, or never, actually. I guess I’ve been lucky?
Not normal. Is it within warranty period? Depending on the company, they might even repair out of warranty, but not sure if companies still do that now that flatscreens are much cheaper. We bought a flat screen when the prices made their first major drop (like 12 years ago?), panel went bad on it a bit over two years later, but the Samsung tech told us how to go about asking for an extension because it was only a couple months past. Since then it’s lasted 10 years problem free.
