Where do you buy it from? Direct from their website?

YesStyle or roseroseshop for me but they have a us site now and I would trust that! I have stopped trusting Amazon for skincare and makeup because of the amount of fakes and they way they do fulfillment makes the risk higher

I have loved this for many years it was recommended to me when I went to learn how to do makeup like 2017 when I needed to learn, and it is great but hella expensive. Does last a long time and is packaged well so you don’t waste/contaminate

I’ve also used Purito BB cream and it seemed pretty much the same but it says it’s fragrance free. In case you were ever looking for something like the Missha without a scent. I don’t notice much of a scent myself so I guess I’m not very sensitive to fragrances. I mean, there are some that drive me crazy. I’ve gotten rid of products because I hated the scent. But maybe those ones were just super strong. Anyway, Cica Clearing BB Cream | Purito Seoul

I like kosas sunscreen- it is very lightly tinted but the texture is dreamy. It’s pricey but I got it as a mini and it’s lasted awhile because I only use it on my face

The Missha BB cream sounds like what I’m looking for but I’m afraid to get the wrong shade. The findations site suggests 31 golden beige based on my existing makeup (a discontinued bareminerals foundation powder) but it said I really should have more than one brand for a more accurate match and I haven’t owned anything else in decades!

If the sun comes out I can try the ones that use a selfie, too. It’s too cloudy right now?

If I were in your shoes, I would go to a place where someone can help you find your shade. So many places offer this-- in addition to Sephora and the like even my Walgreens have hours where they have someone staffing the cosmetics department who will help you find your shades. They will open containers and try them out on you before you are committed to buying.

I mean, I agree that would be optimal but my ability to leave my house without my 2yo is limited and she would NOT be good at Ulta! I might be willing to risk 20 bucks on getting to avoid it.

31 Golden Beige looks too dark to me.Too orange. Does the picture with the three different arms and all the shades on them help? M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF 42 PA+++(50ml) | BB CREAM – Missha. ABLE CNC US Inc

I honestly think 23 is pretty good for most white people. Maybe 27 if you have quite the tan? 25, 29 and 31 are way too orange for most fair-ish people. You have to be super fair, like their white model, for 13. 21 is a possibility. I think I could do alright with 21 even though I use 23. I’m guessing you don’t know your undertones? The website says this about the colors:

  • No.13 Bright Beige - Fair with Warm/Neutral Undertone
  • No.21 Light Beige - Light with Cool Undertone
  • No.23 Natural Beige -Light/Medium with Cool/Neutral Undertone
  • No.25 Warm Beige - Medium with Neutral Undertone
  • No.27 Honey Beige - Medium with Warm Undertone
  • No.29 Caramel Beige - Medium/Tan with Neutral Undertone
  • No 31.Golden Beige - Medium/Tan with Warm Undertone

It’s on sale for $12. You could get two to try? It’s not a huge investment if it turns out you like it and then you find your perfect shade that way.

Hmm, that does seem really dark.

I wouldn’t spend enough for free shipping but Target has it for $18

Wow, that’s a limited selection - like 1999 over there. I’d definitely be a mismatch.

Maybe I do need to go to Ulta. I’m just getting muddled. The Ulta app says I have neutral undertones and light to medium tone- I am not especially fair skinned.

This is my one thing of existing makeup. It’s a good match. The one I had before was a slightly richer/darker color which also worked.

Tbh this is what I would have guessed for you, maybe more golden/yellow undertones.

I agree, I wouldn’t describe myself as orange but if it’s that or pink…

I have some very stressful things going on so I’m popping in here to tell you that the Missha BB cream in the #27 color seems pretty perfect. A little more makeup-y than what I was using, but in a good way- a little more coverage while still being light.
