I’m vacuuming the database right now, that’s supposed to also speed things up. Should be done shortly.

I’m having issues with replying on my phone (Moto 5G 2023, android). Some of the buttons (especially Reply) are not displaying, or are displayed with other text under or over them. It’s like the body of the site flow right through any headers or footers (or that may be a separate problem)

And… I just logged out on my phone and cannot figure out how to log back in. It doesn’t appear under any dropdown menu including more. If I click on unread, it just says Access Denied.

Hmm this sounds like a cSs issue. Are you In
Dark mode or light mode?

When logged out, the front page of forum.ohmydollar.con should have a big ā€œloginā€ button at the top

I don’t know? My background is white, if that helps.
I’ll see if I can move a screen shot to my computer.

But the obvious thing that pops up - both the Login button and the reply button are the same color of blue, and none of those are visible to me. The only reason I’ve been able to reply from my phone is I know where the reply button should be.

OK, here’s some screen downloads:

1st, no login button:

Next, if I click on the More button, it doesn’t cover the menu behind it:

Here’s one after I log in:

Both the banner at the top and the bottom have text showing through that didn’t used to, and the Reply button is not visible. This screenshot was taken while I had this post open. I’m using Google chrome.

This really brings home how much work you and @aaronpk do to keep this site working! Thank you!!!

That’s super weird! Do you mind if I share these screenshots with the Discourse forum team?

It looks to me like old CSS sticking around. Can you try clearing the cache? I found this link for how to do it on Android

Thank you so much for all these screenshots. Both me and aaronpk thinks this looks like a CSS caching error. Two questions:

Do you have any other browsers on your phone?

Can you clear your cache? here’s how to do it on chrome on android.

Yes, you may share the images.
I am clearing the browsing data now, thank you for including a link on how to do that! It’s taking its own sweet time.

ETA: The same issues are still there after clearing cache & cookies for this site.

The website seems to be fixed on my phone! All of the previous issues I reported have been resolved.

Hmm how long elapsed between when you cleared cookies and when it was fixed?

Several hours
