It’s knotty alder with a darker stain on it. It’s even cooler close up because it has cool wood knots in it.

Thanks! The coffee piece I created to keep the pot out of the way and as a “station” for that stuff. One of my favourite things is that in the other side of the fridge I have a narrow cupboard for storage containers, Tupperware, etc with 2 drawers, of which one is for lids to keep it tidy.

Oh. My. Gosh. I want to make love to that island. AND THE ELEVATED OVEN. Is that…a second oven under the top one? AND LOOK AT THE PANTRY. So much cabinet space!!! Pretty flowers too! I’ll be moving in next month, thx.

It’s just a microwave. A not-exactly-matching all the other fancy appliances, a-little-small-for-the-space microwave. I actually got it for free on Buy Nothing many years ago! But it’s the microwave that everyone likes best (Daughter figured out how to turn off the beep and we are forever grateful) so we jettisoned the one that came with the house and put in our old one.
I guess what I really need to do is take pictures of the things that make the kitchen awesome. The pull-outs and the drawers, etc. I’ll get on that!
