My cat won a long time ago. The only place I don’t let her is on the dining room table, but I know she’s up there when I’m not home.

Elder Kitty’s slight disability in her back legs keeps her from being able to reach kitchen counters, and she trained Mr. Obnoxious from a kitten, so I’ve been spoiled for years about high places.

My cat really loves toys where the string is elastic so she can make it jump around like crazy. I haven’t seen any in a long time (they’ve all been regular string) and found this at Target tonight. She loves it so I thought I’d share.

His mom was rescued from Northern Ontario, pregnant with 9 puppies including Ares. The foster home did a DNA test on her, and it came back 25% each lab, husky, Shepard, and 12.5% collie, 12.5% ‘other terrier breeds’.
One of his litter mates did a DNA test and it included Siberian Husky and Alaskan malamute, but puppies from the same litter may or may not have the same father.
Of the nine puppies we have a group chat with I think six of them, and the foster home and his mama. It’s interesting to see the similarities. They all LOVE snow.
Also, he’s handsome and he knows it

We had a female dog when we first got His Lordship. She was unimpressed. She mostly ignored him, but sometimes hated him and other times tolerated him. He was a goof and didn’t seem to notice. I think there were times she was glad he was here (like when we were both at work), not that she would admit that.

Bernie is never glad that he’s here. Her favourite is when we take him somewhere and leave her at home with the peaceful quiet.

This is how Percy feels about our very loud, active human child. We recently had people over (adult friends) and Kiddo played with his tablet in the other room and she was SO HAPPY to be getting all the pets and cuddles.
