This is somehow comfortable
Cats are strange.
Oldster takes foreeeeeeeeeever on walks. New Pup is very forgiving (but loses her mind with excitement when it’s just the two of us and she can run).
Here’s our typical mid-afternoon walk:
My oldster is very slow now too, but loves his walks. Much sniffing, or just stopping and staring.
Yes His smell is one of his only decently working senses these days so he gets a good workout!
Same problems here with diminished hearing and sight. I know he hears loud sounds, but he no longer responds to words that used to thrill him, so I guess we sound like the teacher on Charlie Brown…
I didn’t realize Oldster was deaf for at least six months because he still responded to hand signals and sign language! Oops. Here I thought he’d finally figured out loud trucks weren’t so bad
New Pup heartily approves
You are interrupting his nap…
He needs a silver try with wet food on a crystal thingmabob like in the fancy cat food commercials.
And a bell by the bed, in case he needs something else. And the TV remote.
all four of them
They had a little encouragement from catnip
I wondered how you’d gotten all four to pose.
