Oldster takes foreeeeeeeeeever on walks. New Pup is very forgiving (but loses her mind with excitement when it’s just the two of us and she can run).

My oldster is very slow now too, but loves his walks. Much sniffing, or just stopping and staring.

Yes :slight_smile: His smell is one of his only decently working senses these days so he gets a good workout!

Same problems here with diminished hearing and sight. I know he hears loud sounds, but he no longer responds to words that used to thrill him, so I guess we sound like the teacher on Charlie Brown…

I didn’t realize Oldster was deaf for at least six months because he still responded to hand signals and sign language! Oops. Here I thought he’d finally figured out loud trucks weren’t so bad :laughing:
