Nice to see the pets graciously share the couch with you.
Last night I insisted that they let me have enough room on the bed and they were so offended. Daisy would have been huffy all night if she could have stayed awake.
This cute little butt nugget keeps pulling threads on my nice sweater and is stupidly persistent when I remove her…
Imma spare you guys the photo evidence, but girl kitty has developed an abscess on her… posterior region overnight. This is how I learned that the nearest vet to mine (~25 miles north in an adjacent county) decided the pandemic was his personal last straw and retired, that most other vets within 50 miles are closed, and that our vet has chosen to take up the slack rather than let animals go untreated. Good for her. But meantime, we can’t get in until a week from today and I’ve discovered the joy of applying warm compresses to a cat butt.
I’ve seen this before , one of my cats (years ago) developed several perianal fistula (at the same time, cause unknown), and warm compresses were used, and also she had to take some medication to clear it up. Hopefully the warm compresses provide enough relief until you can get into the vet!
Is veterinary telemedicine a thing?
Not a clue. Maybe it should be! I’ll check.
I use text message veterinary visits, ha. Most recently including photos of Cat’s skin and discussion leading to no contact pickup of new medication
It’s starting to be.
He is so very good with Bobbin and when he needs a break from the toddler energy this is where I find him.
…I’m a bit jealous sometimes
Now that I’m WFH all the time we noticed that my velcro pup will frequently leave the room as soon as my preschooler comes in. If she could fit under furniture that he couldn’t, I’m sure she would.
He insisted on taking a picture with her the other day, her face says it all.
Is he quarantining with some underpants?
Haha nope, discarded toddler T-shirt
But are you sure you can’t fit under there?
