Yeah, pretty much. Like, this is so funny I’m dying, I’m dead, help (except don’t.) also like funny/stupid. Like this is so stupid, help because it’s going to kill me. But stupid funny not the kind of stupid that makes you mad like Trump being president. (They all want him actually dead, not like the dead they are from laughing at stupid shit).

I told you it’s confusing. I’m in text jail and they only put up with me because I’m their mother because I commit many infractions such as:
Use capitals
Use punctuation
Ask them if they are ok when they say “help”
Have (in the past but know better now) used …
Ask for translations of their unintelligible acronyms

I wish I didn’t know this. But yeah they’ll say “help”, occasionally “this is sending me”, “dead” 
, less often 
“Help” actually makes sense to me as An Old™️ because when I’m laughing like so much that I’m crying I often start saying “help” like “help I can’t stop laughing” … So that one clicked for me.

As a parent, it’s the absolute worst. I hate it soooooo much. Talk about triggering! And they just throw it around, nonstop, like it’s nothing. I find a lot of their language silly and ridiculous and confusing and weird, but whatever. I can laugh about it. Except that one. That’s not OK and Daughter is the worst offender. It makes me want to km. (just kidding!)

My friend group talked like that in highschool, and a few weeks into university I was on the phone chatting to my bf and almost ended up in the psych ward because my roommate took it seriously. And that is how I learned my lesson
