I believe they do that so no one can cut the stamp out and attach it to a letter

Absolute lurker behavior on my part, but thank you so much for posting this. I founded and operate a pet food pantry program in my city and am not a 501c3, so I’m always desperate to find small grant programs that will even accept an app from us. I’d never heard of Awesome Foundation before - it’s very cool!

Is there any information about legal immigration and what Trump might do with it?
My niece married a Mexican man in August 2023 and they filed paperwork in October of 2023. I believe they met in June 2021. It’s all been moving along, they’ve been able to look online and see where they are in line and all that. She’s of course worried now that shenanigans will happen even though they have done everything absolutely correctly. Theoretically he should have papers and be able to move here this summer if Trump weren’t in charge…

In the short term I think there’s going to be a lot of uncertainty.
In the long term, I think it will come down to if her husband is following a path laid out and put into law by Congress, or a pathway created by an executive order by Biden or someone else. Trump can un-do executive orders by previous presidents.
He can’t readily un-do the laws created by Congress, though he is certainly trying, and his attempts are being challenged by lawsuits. He may try other things, like not funding the agency handling the paperwork. Unless Congress changes the laws, I think her husband will ultimately get his papers but it may take a lot longer than it normally would.

It’s supposed to imitate being outside barefoot. Supposed to help with lots of health issues which would be great but seems suspect, like so many other things.
