One final question: does a pack mean 1 or 2 contacts? So are you wearing 1 pack/day on days you use contacts?

Right, so 90-pack means a package with 90 individual contacts, NOT 90 sets.

It looks like you need 5.78 packs/year. So I would order 6 packs just in case you have extra contacts instead of glasses days.

5 days a week x 2 contacts a day x 52 weeks is 520 contacts so… 6 boxes would give you a few extra.

How do I fill this hole in my hardwood floor?
Hand for scale. But my hands are very small, so the hole is probably smaller than you think it is.
Also, before I fix the hole, how do I get out the toddler toothbrush that’s down there?

You aren’t getting that toothbrush back.
It’s pretty round, so you could fit a piece of dowling into the hole, then fill in the gaps with wood filler. Or try to do the whole thing with wood filler. Once it’s hardened, sand until smooth.
The tricky part is that it won’t match the rest of the floor and you can’t just stain/ varnish that little patch to match without hella skills. You can make it safe and smooth but it will always be an eyesore.

Or you could paint it with metallic paint and it would be a shiny, less eyesore, eyesore!

How far down is the toothbrush? There’s the possibility of using a wire coat hanger or a pair of long tweezers, but otherwise, agree with Smacky’s assessment. It is lost to the underfloor.
Would those wax pencils for scraped floors help with color to make it match-ish?

You fill it the smacky way and then bright colour or metallic or shiny black since it won’t match ever.

Like on yourself? I don’t see why not. For my stable patients I do temp every 4 hours, in the ICU we have constant temp read outs, recovering people from surgery we do every 15 min for the first hour 
If it harms your mental health probably don’t, but there’s not like… rules against it. If that makes sense.
But for a healthy person with a normal clinical picture, every four hours is plenty unless you feel a change in symptoms that would prompt more (ex suddenly feel super sweaty)

Looks like the top/attachment piece of an OXO grater. The grater plane would slide in to that & it’s the handle. If you don’t have a matching grater, it’s junk.

I came thisclose to throwing this out, but I put it aside until I was finished with all the kitchen reorg. I mentioned your comment to HTbF, and he remembered that the two separate graters we’ve been using are actually part of one mega-grater. This was a very big duh moment. Like a wooden dowel? That makes sense. I was concerned that if I tried to fill in the whole thing with wood filler, it would just fall down into the hole.
I am not super concerned about looks. It won’t be the first patched spot in this floor. My house is almost two hundred years old, and I’m fairly certain this floor is original; these things happen.
It’s close enough that if I could fit my hand through the hole, I could grab it. I was thinking of trying needle-nose pliers if we have them, but it will be hard to make the toothbrush vertical enough to get through the hole. I bet I could get the magnet up that way, though.
Ooh, these are good ideas. OR… what if I made it look like blood?!
