Has anyone here used Ambetter health insurance? Just curious to hear about experiences. They are much more affordable than Blue Cross, but one of my docs is out-of-network, so I’m not sure how that would work.

Is there a way to get baked on gunk off glass pans? It doesn’t come off with scrubbing so I think I need a different product.

I haven’t tried it but a cleaner I watch on YouTube swears by a bit of oven cleaner.

I’ve had really good luck getting that kind of gunk off with those scotch brite stainless steel scrubbies. Seems counter intuitive to use it on glass, but I’ve never had it scratch anything!

I live in Qld which has the Great Barrier Reef and rainforest in the North and then lots of stuff out the back we call the Outback. However, given you’re in Sydney and Melbourne it make sense to head to Tasmania?
It’s got lots of nature, wilderness and cute animals. A really good food and wine thing going on. It’s also fairly small and easy to drive around.
It’s got some history with the whole convict thing at Port Arthur.
Tasmania is also our favourite Australian holiday destination. Or at the very least our most frequent interstate holiday.

I dont know heaps, as I usually just visit friends in Melbourne and Sydney and never properly explore but my friend did this the other day and said it was really nice

Royal Exhibition Building Dome Promenade - Melbourne Museum (museumsvictoria.com.au)

And maybe just check out whats on here - The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney (nsw.gov.au)

Both Melbourne and Sydney are great cities to visit and have a different vibe - Sydney more harbour/beach life and Melbourne more european style (within reason) cafe culture alley ways moody artsy.
But you should definitely see some of Australia outside of the cities.

I haven’t been to either city for almost a decade, I can’t help sorry!

Edit: I always do the botanic garden in Sydney and love it.

I have come to the conclusion that I need new bras. I have not bought new PROPER bras (ie, has structure, not a bralette) in I don’t know how long, and when I did, it was ordering dupes of a style I knew fit me well.

I went off the pill and gained weight and now the 2 bras I have left are unwearable. FUUUUCK. I hate bra shopping. Where does one go these days to buy good ones that will not break the bank?

Someplace with a big selection, like Target or Kohls or Macy’s. Try a million on, because bra sizes are a lie. Then whatever fits, go home and order more online.

Anyone have techniques for dealing with long term panic? The political situation terrifies me. All of my boogie men are out there screaming their heads off.

So, Im doing what folks with PTSD do when they panic: go to ground. And their brain goes blank.

Great, but I blew a favor for someone that was time sensitive and had the potential to maybe become a gig. I havent answered an email from my brother about getting together before his last gig stops and he moves away, again. I havent answered a dear friend living in France. Im dropping balls all over the place because Im living on a hair trigger again.

So, obviously, I need to do something new. But what?
