This is definitely true for iTunes but I believe via bandcamp, you own own them. Sadly they haven’t figured out how to do the library component

I buy on Bandcamp whenever I can, for file ownership reasons. Otherwise I pirate, but it doesn’t sit well. I want to support artists.

Sometimes you can buy from the artist’s site. But I mostly stream via evil empires

Why is America known for pumpkin spice lattes and also uses them as a student loan agreement? Is the f on pslf for foam? Is public service work really just a pumpkin spice cappuccino?

Husband rips mp3s off YouTube videos and then plays them via the Samsung music player on his phone.

For supporting artists I buy shit from their websites. T shirts/prints…etc often there’s a support us button where you can just send them money. If you really want to go for it message them on social media and ask how to give them money.

I like that idea, pirate the music and then send the artist the same money

I have blue light glasses that are so cheap they are a little blurry. If I spend more money will they be clearer? I wanted to try them before spending much.

Yes. The blue light filter on my normal glasses is basically transparent and I can’t tell it’s there. I ordered a cheap pair with just the blue light filter to wear over my contacts and I had the same problem. I think I got mine from Zenni or one of the other super cheap places recommended on here. The lenses are actually plastic and are a bit blurry and I can’t stand to wear them. I think a more expensive pair with actual glass lenses wouldn’t be blurry.

I guess I have failed the Are you a hillbilly? test. I have never heard of or seen such a thing! Like, this is something that is real? Something you can buy or make? I’m really not a posh person, but I’m actually confused. I would have thought it was a joke except for your wedding comment.

Oh it’s for real, haha. They used to be made by gluing a candlestick to a mason jar but now you can buy them ready made. Maybe it’s a regional hillbilly thing?

Mason jars are the defacto glass to drink from in hillbilly land. You’ll see plenty with handles to be used as mugs, but put a stem on one, and you fancy!

Real, buy or make depending on budget or preference.

Did you want to pass the Are you a Hillbilly? Test?

I got them once at my work Christmas party! So they are both Ohio and Colorado hillbilly approved

Hahaha, no I guess I did not. I’m fine with keeping my wine glasses and my mason jars separate. :joy:

Thanks to everyone who commented about electrolytes! I ended up getting a bag of Skratch Labs lemon and lime and tried out one scoop today, half before my workout and half during. I think it helps! I do not feel quite as dead as I usually do after CrossFit :joy:

And the taste is very nice, like a watered down lemonade made with real lemons.

Which do I wear to a wedding tomorrow? Dress code is “summer formal”

  • Pink and short
  • Multicolored and long
  • Both of these are too white for a wedding, wear something else

Are you more comfortable in one of the dresses?

Will you be inside or outside or both?

Personally, I like the 2nd dress more, but for no good reason.

  1. I really love the second dress (long) but that might mostly be because I bought it for like $8 at TJ maxx.
  2. not sure, it’s at a woodsy place but it will be like 98 and I’m pretty sure the reception is all indoors (but I should pack some mosquito repellent just in case…)

And maybe a really light shawl or wrap if they go crazy with air conditioning).

Does either dress show sweat / moisture? Not as likely with patterned fabric. A friend had some khaki capris (with spandex) that unfortunately really showed sweat. Sweat was running down her back to the seat of her capris. Not a good look.
