I usually associate hairballs with cats, not dogs, so I’m not sure if you’re referring to residue that’s left from pet hair that’s been partially digested or just pet hair that’s been shed.
I have had good luck using OxyClean on my carpet for the stains left when my cat throws up on the carpet.
This reminds me of those dang math word problems from school.
If a flight lands at the Seattle airport at 10:38PM and the tram service from the airport to downtown ends at midnight, could someone with only carry on luggage reasonably make the tram? If one does not make the tram (flight delay or whatever), what other options are there for getting from the airport to the hotel and are they bonkers expensive (like $$$$ taxi ride)?
I think hydrogen peroxide + sun bleaches color. We did a little volcano experiment (baking soda + vinegar) for some cat vomit that had dried on the rug and it worked pretty well.
Yes, I think you’ll make that train. The airport is not so big that you can’t get from airplane to train in an hour. I moved from Seattle several years ago, but an Uber from a neighborhood north of downtown to the airport south of the city was like $50. I think Google maps can give you a price for a cab/Uber in the app?
I NEVER life events to my taxes before they happen. It feels like jinxing myself. I often have trouble with under-withholding on my taxes anyway (even though I am an educated woman and trying my best). So I got married in September 2018- that did not go on my W-4 until I got back from the honeymoon. This year’s late summer baby, definitely not appearing on taxes until it is safely in its bassinet.
Yep. In my experience, if you only have carry-on it’s about 20 minutes from your gate to the Link – there’s a station at the airport. A taxi is probably going to be about $50 from SeaTac to downtown.
Okay thank you for the second opinion! I tend to overestimate when making quarterly estimated payments anyway so seems like it will be fine. Was just looking at the W4 and realizing that people with uh, longer than 4 month engagements might actually be planning ahead and changing this stuff at the beginning of the year which hadn’t occurred to me before…
Yeah, hers is sort of In Between pricewise, but is not orange. Which is just as well as it’s the only thing she’ll eat. Cat won’t even eat canned tuna. She’s a mutant alien kitty.
The puppies are bigger personalities, that’s for sure. She’s 15 and sleeps much of the day. But here are some pics of Old Lady Kitty (links to Share your Pets)
And one of everyone piled into Mom’s lap all at once:
Is your (term) life insurance monthly payment locked in when you apply or can they increase it as you age/if you get diagnosed with something new? The FAQs at this place don’t mention this so I’m either way too paranoid or they’re hiding something.
Are you talking about an application in progress or a contract in force?
For an application - the projected premium is subject to change depending on approval rating after medical underwriting.
Do you have an annually renewable term, because I believe this is the one where new health information can affect the contract. Term premiums can be level (locked in) or graded (the premium will fluctuate to keep up with interest rates and keep you at a set death benefit OR the premium could remain the same, but over time the death benefit slowly decreases)
