things I have been very happy I upgraded: can opener. chef knife. cutting board. towels. frying pan. mattress pad.
I’m considering an Instapot and a new toaster.

Actually, I don’t have any waterproof foot options currently. That’s definitely something I should see to that I’ve been (bada-chhh!) dragging my feet on.
Keypad is a good idea. We go through the garage a lot (has a keypad), but it would be nice to not always have to. Frankly we should also upgrade the garage opener motor so it doesn’t sound like a dying garbage disposal every time we use it
Are your pots and pans in good shape, do that have all the lids?
Do any pillows need replacing? Foam topper out matters replacement?
Shelving/organization stuff?
Dog walker/doggie daycare?
A more comfortable computer chair? I used a bad one for way too long just because it wasn’t falling apart yet but I realized I was cutting short my video game time because I didn’t want to sit any more.
A really good lidded coffee container that’s insulated so your odds of drinking it at the right temperature go up?
Take a week to pay attention to what really annoys you. A second broom in the other end of the house has really upped my quality of life. But it’s going to vary tremendously from person to person.
hmm. a second broom stored in the closet upstairs…
you’re giving me ideas. Of course also we need that vacuum cleaner.
The toddler parent insights on that last Q question was much appreciated lol.
I’m actually very glad you have a good coffee container already!
I bought a second vacuum cleaner to keep in the basement, and it was awesome.
Ooh I recently bought a second vacuum, so one is up and one is downstairs. Plus I couldn’t do the whole house on my v7s battery anymore. It was a good choice for me lol.
I recently upgraded a few things in the kitchen. I kept running out of glasslock containers when meal prepping, so I just bought a whole new set and now I have all the containers I could ever need. This has brought me more joy than I ever imagined haha
I also bought a stainless steel set of measuring cups, after using plastic ones where the paint with the size had been worn off for like 10 years
I got a new really nice cheese grater after using one from my parents wedding 48 years ago (literally) for my entire adult life.
Oh! I saw you mentioned being picky about pillows. I am also really picky, and I bought a ridiculously expensive down pillow a few years ago and I love it. It’s Southern Living ( I think I got it at Dillards) and it’s just the right firmness, but doesn’t make your neck hurt, and you can punch it to fluff it up and it’s just really great. I think it was like $120 but totally worth it.
Anyone want to recommend a clip on mic?
Thinking of you @aaronpk ;D
Budget of up to 100$
Purpose: to-camera stuff on YT without road noise
Questions:
For a camera, not a phone. Both would be cool but not needed perk.
Wireless ideal but one of those but pack things is doable.
Spend whatever it costs to get pants/a whole new wardrobe that is comfy and fits. Dedicated babysitting time etc. But be comfy
Comica sent me this one to review a while ago, and it’s perfectly fine, but I don’t need it anymore! I would happily send it to you!
Oh gosh that would be amazing! Happy to pay for shipping and/or whatever you think it’s worth.
You rock!
No worries! Happy for it to go to a good home! I’ll follow up in DM!
I want one of those small smoothie blenders where the cup attaches directly to the blender. Anyone have brand recs?
