I’ve had mine for over a decade now. It’s one of those that doesn’t leave a sharp edge. Will check for brand name when I go downstairs again.

I have the other Oxo that does a vertical slice instead of a horizontal, and it was a great upgrade from the church bazaar version I’d been using for 15 years. Thank you for reminding me, I was a victim of hedonic adaptation and hadn’t remembered to really appreciate it the last few times I used it.

Because they decided to do an oprah interview (aired yesterday,) and palace staff accused them of bullying when they were in the palace. According to reports of the interview the situation was awful, really bad for meghan’s mental health. Racism in the palace. Charles stopped talking to harry. Protecting his family gave harry a way out. And the queen was always lovely. Also meghan wouldn’t have married a prince if she knew how bad shit was, and harry wouldn’t have left otherwise because he was trapped but was born into the trap, y’know?

2 hour Television Event tell all interview with Oprah last night. In “preparation” someone in Buckingham palace leaked some stories that Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, bullied staff and was an all around terror. Basically trying to discredit her before the interview.

Yet they’ve protected Prince Andrew at all costs.
I have to admit, ive been pretty negative on Meghan in the past. Her pregnancy wardrobe spending was insane, even for a royal. An she said some stupid stuff. (Claiming she didn’t know who he was…um, I’m her age. We grew up with them in teen magazines. You’d have to live under a rock to not know who prince harry is.) But I think I’m believing her on most of this stuff. It sounds horrific. Which doesn’t mean she also isn’t a gold digger…
I totally believe there are racist members of that family, that she was told she can’t seek help or mental health issues, etc. And it’s nice they’ve gone out of their way to say the queen has been lovely, because they could have just as easily said everyone was against them. Fitting into the highest of the british upperclass is an impossible undertaking for almost anyone. I can’t imagine how lonely it must be.
(That said, the kid not being a prince is not racism. He’s not entitled to it until his grandfather is King.)
I also think Catherine has probably had a generally horrible time of it, but has just decided it’s worth it to her. I’m sad to think she want welcoming to Meghan, but I also think people just expected them to be BFFs and that’s a silly thing.
