It does not :disappointed_relieved: (theres getting to be fewer and fewer across the board right?)

That’s my understanding, but I think our property just doesn’t have all that many in general. Don’t think it’s new.

I have a discbound planner - an Arc from Staples - that’s maybe 6 years old now. Over the years I’ve used the stock inserts that are very boring (so that lasted about a month and now they’re scratch paper), printed my own on nice thick paper at a FedEx store from printables online, and bought some from Etsy.

I tend to jump from planner to planner during the year, going back and forth from freestyle (bullet journal but I don’t do much color and no art so I get bored of how it looks) to very structured (but customized the way I want darnit) so I love having this one always ready as my next “new” planner option. I also keep all my written recipes in this one, and a few “collections” I’ve moved from bullet journals.

I personally really like discbound and haven’t had trouble with pages tearing or falling out, and the cover of mine still looks brand new.

Have you looked at planner inserts on Etsy? It might be worth looking at the cost of buying an Arc or TUL cover and then ordering compatible inserts. For me it was hard to spend the higher prices when I wasn’t completely sure what I needed from a planner. But I just got a custom Plum Paper spiral bound a couple months ago so my priorities have changed

I’m wondering if anyone knows anything about the PPP program?

My boss recently told me that he was informed that he has to pay taxes this year on the amount he borrowed, like it was profit for the business. On money that businesses were told would be a forgiven amount as long as they spent it according to the guidelines, which he was very careful about. On money that was largely spent on employee paychecks, which the employee then had taxes taken out of as normal. So… “free” money that ends up not just single taxed as appropriate, but double taxed? During a pandemic? He did also say that the rules have changed lots of times because nobody seems to know what they are doing, so I might say things could still change, but it’s basically the end of the year now…

Yes, that’s what I’ve seen as well :disappointed_relieved: articles about businesses saying “we would have just closed at that point if we’d known”. Awful!

My boss is saying he is sorry he ever took it, but basically the government was begging businesses to use PPP rather than unemployment. I would have made more money on unemployment if you include the extra $600 a week they were giving early on.

But, since I know nothing about business… how is it even legal to tax something that has already had tax paid on it? As in the portion of the loan that paid paychecks?

There’s double taxation in other places. Most notable would be taxing estates (previously taxed as income or taxed in future as capital gains) and SS benefits (except for SSI).

Has anyone seen my motivation? I seem to have set it down somewhere and can’t find it.

Have you checked the bed? Sometimes if I go lay in mine long enough, I find some. If i haven’t found any, it’s time to check the kitchen.

It’s not here.
Probably.
I would look but I don’t feel like it right now.

I’ve been searching for it in bed for about 12 hours. I would go check the kitchen, but that would require pants and I need motivation to find and put on said pants. A catch 22.

My go to for days like that is a bad idea for everyone. But since I’m oversharing (though I may have said this somewhere earlier…)

Smelling salts… They never fail to get me moving.

Why do you need pants for the kitchen?

(I say as I’m about to go rinse out my coffee cup, pantsless)

I’ve only worn pants inside twice since march. This is a trend I hope continues.

Many MANY windows. Including one that looks almost directly into my neighbor’s child’s window.

I have those. My neighbours have learned not to look. I hope.

We have giant windows that look onto the second floor that aren’t set up for blinds. My neighbors have either learned not to look or perhaps I’m famous on other sorts of sites. Either way, I’m good with it.

I figure whatever they see is proper punishment for looking.
