I also have the Cuisanart 7-cup and have had it for around 15 years, no complaints!
Wirecutter is a good review site. I almost always start with their guides unless it’s something sold at Costco in which case I feel safe because of their return policy
I am leaving my job, and the company I have worked at for over 10 years. I started looking for other work after my company did something I thought was unethical (it was legal)
Should I mention this in my exit interview as my reason for leaving? My direct supervisor already knows and our department manager is aware but both of these convos were informal.
I would make sure that I have a reliable reference set up and then yes, I would absolutely inform them.
The company’s actions cost them employee retention.
Latest mystery object:
It only has that protuberance on one side. Is it supposed to hang? Lean and dry dishes?
@nnls - good for you for standing by your ethics!
I assume a dish drying wrack with the option to hang up to free up bench space?
and thanks
The whole thing has kinda happened a bit weird. After my last post I was invited to a work lunch with our company CEO was there (our company has 50k employees globally, but he was at out site doing some meet and greets because of the incident I was talking about) and I ended up telling him and one of the other senior management about how ashamed I was of the company and how I was leaving. They have encouraged me to put it in the exit interview as well.
Maybe a freezer shelf? Mine has some like that and the side that doesn’t have legs fits into a slot at the back of the freezer.
That’s my guess
@nnls I do not have words to describe how impressed by this I am. You are impressive. I am in awe. We all want to think we’d quit to take a moral stance but you actually did it.
DITTO
Does anyone who speaks French want to read a baby book that I have out loud on a video, so that I can try to read it to my baby? A friend gave it to me, and I do not speak French. My baby is obsessed with the pictures though.
I don’t speak French super well, but am available as a backup if needed. I should hope my French is at a baby book level, but you never know.
I used to be fluent, but that was 25 years ago. Here’s hoping somebody better volunteers. If not, I can also be a back up.
Thanks I was actually super nervous and almost chickened out of saying anything but I am glad I did
I’d offer but even when I was mostly fluent my accent was atrocious so I don’t know how helpful I’d be, lol
I mean, I’m sure I’ll be butchering it anyway. I speak Spanish, and apply that accent to everything. But at this point, I have literally zero idea what I’m doing. Any direction is up
Obviously not a native speaker but I can do it if you want
I’ll text you pictures of the pages?
