How to create a tool box without buying an actual toolbox?
We have a miserable system of small cardboard boxes and bags within a larger plastic tote. Do not recommend.
As in you want a variety of tools or you just don’t want the box part of the tool box itself?
If you have a cabinet somewhere, add pegboard:
You can do this with a shelf, too.
Amazon mattress havers - how long did you let it rest before you slept on it? We just assembled ours around 30 minutes ago and ideally we’d like to sleep on them tonight but I’m finding mixed info online. There was nothing in the packaging to say how long to wait and the Internet says between 4-48 hours or not to worry about it
I want a portable container with our most frequently used tools. Tools are stored in the basement, but projects are usually done upstairs and outside, so we’re constantly running back down to grab something.

@rural - definitely keeping an eye out for peg board, although it won’t help with the portable aspect.
I slept on mine the same night. It did not smell overly chemical-y though.
I used a free pile bathroom caddy for years.
Need vitamin D and B Complex (fast absorbing liquid preferably), used to get the Sprouts brand but am no where near Sprouts anymore.
Recs?
That was going to be my suggestion. I’m remembering the one I used at the dorms in college. Ah. Nothing like walking through the hallway wearing nothing, but a towel or robe and carting all your necessary bath stuff.
I am silly and usually just cart my needed items around in pockets or make too many trips up and down stairs.
Yeah ours smells a little bit but doesn’t seem too bad. I just didn’t want to damage the fluffiness or anything if it needed to firm up or something. I have no idea how this works
Eating beef liver naked in the sunshine?
No?
We left it a couple days, but I’m an anxious sort about that stuff.
I vote this
Eta we get votes right? That’s how this works?
Maybe not…
My hunch is that it would still finish expanding and sleeping on it wouldn’t lead to it staying compressed. I think mine had care instructions somewhere in the sale listing.
They make canvas tool organizers that hang over/fit in a five gallon bucket.

We have two, and I’m pretty sure slept on both the day they were delivered. One I’m sure of because it was for husband’s grad school apartment and it was that or a hardwwod floor. That one is actually a bit softer/fluffier now. It’s about a year newer, but also was a Great Dane’s bed (with rubber kennel sheets on top) for about four months after grad school.
What attachable bidet should I get? All the amazon reviews for cheaper ones say they will leak, but even the Tushy has negative reviews too. Is it just a flawed concept? I really want a bidet.
