I guess I’m concerned that would make the weight range less forgiving? Because a man my weight would likely have thinner limbs than me due to their weight being distributed in more height?

So the pad size is defined by weight, not just S, M, L, XL?

They have those sizes but places recommend choosing a size based on weight.

I probably need to look into something that sells somewhat higher quality ones that actually has you take like leg measurements or something.

The higher quality brands like 187 and protec might be better fits? I’ve never heard of choosing pad sizing based on weight, only on whether the straps fit etc, and this was for roller derby so the fit was really important, you didn’t want your pads moving if you fell. Those brands are super padded and really comfy to skate in but they are pricey (I don’t know what they’d be in USD though).

Not exactly personal experience, but I had a boyfriend who used that stuff. Shaving gave him bumps on his face so he used Magic Shave. It worked well I guess, and there wasn’t that getting scratched by stubble when kissing that happens when you kiss a person who shaves, so that was nice. But it smelled terrible while he was using it.

Personally, I’ve used Nair-type products on my bikini line and found that a lot more comfortable than shaving there. It didn’t burn or cause a rash or anything. But of course everyone’s skin is different.

The sensitive formulation Nair I do NOT react to, the several times I’ve used it, and that’s incredibly notable. I react to nearly everything. It does smell Totally foul. And I now worry about what chemicals those are and what they did to my body lol. But it worked well and I didn’t react :woman_shrugging:

I have a wireless optical mouse that isn’t working properly. The cursor moves correctly when I move the mouse, the scroll button works, the click buttons sound like they’re working, but the computer doesn’t register the click. Should I try to take the mouse apart and clean it, or just get a new one?

My husband says you need to check your drivers and maybe update the mouse software. If this just started happening and the mouse had been working, then cleaning might fix it but the mouse might just be dead.

Thanks. Probably just dead, then, or mostly-dead enough that I’m not going to take the time to figure out how to “check drivers” and “update mouse software” (does it have software?!) :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

The wiggler gets a new toy!

Do make sure the Wiggler can’t turn the laser on accidentally (battery removal would solve).

One step ahead of you  The battery has barely been used–I’m saving it for when I hopefully get a new wireless mouse!

I currently have an abundance of lavender. What can I do with it? I’m not big on potpourri/sachets. Tea? Is lavender tea just dried flowers? What else?

I made a huge batch of lavender essential oil when i lived in the commune. It was coming out my pores for weeks or maybe months afterwards. Do not recommend.

People do use it as a flavoring / but I imagine you have to be careful and have a light touch

Agree, I used to have a recipe for lavender tea cake, maybe still do. It lovely, but you do need a light touch, because if goes from “lovely” to “soap” real fast.
