I feel like this only raises more questions.
Followup note to @AllHat
While perscription urinary diets do work, the big three (Purina, Hill’s Science Diet and Royal Canin) all have their own spin on it. You might want to talk to your doctor about trying the others if Kitty does not like the Purina Pro Plan one. And as always, do a slow introduction to any new food; mixing it with the old food and increasing by 10% a day until you switch to 100% new food. Switching immediately tends to cause stomach upset/ more pickiness.
disclaimer: I am not a veterinarian. I’m just married to one and work in the field and go to a lot of the seminars because it’s more interesting than my desk job.
Oh interesting, thanks @Marcela I didn’t know about the gradual introduction! :-o They recommended either Hill Science or Purina so I’ll start there and see…maybe I should just get a few cans and mix them in gradually to see if he notices, lol.
Happy to! When you start looking, feel free to message me or batsignal me or whatever. I LOVE shopping for bikes. I’ve had my own e-bike 5 years now and we’re about 6 months into being a 2 e-bike family and a year into being a family that bikes together, so I have lots of thoughts and ideas on things like - coping with rain, making your clothes and bike more visible (lots of reflection) and the must haves for bikes and bike parking.
Anyone know what my greens here are? My CSA forgot to send out their normal email of what we picked up.
They look like beet greens to me.
First I was like Beets! Then I was like, no, wait, amaranth! Then I was like no wait it’s kinda prickly, mustard! I think it’s a variety of mustard. Taste it!
Agree some kind of mustard. Will probably be best cooked rather than in salad.
I was going to suggest mustard greens too. Or maybe turnip greens (but with the red veins maybe not).
Yes turnip isn’t likely to have the veins, plus would have smooth / scalloped margins, not toothed like that. Ditto for collards.
Thank you guys! I’ll nibble once the baby is down.
I have a Vanguard IRA and I’m trying to confirm what type it is. I think it’s a Roth but when I log in it just says “Rollover IRA” because I rolled my old 401k into it when I left my W2 job. Anyone know how to tell short of calling them? I noodled around in the app but can’t be very thorough due to a toddler who has sensed that I was trying to get something done and now needs to be in my lap.
What was your old 401k that you rolled over into it?
Not sure, it was a normal 401k with a different company. I don’t understand why it’s not even written on my statement or anything
Did you get a tax deduction when the money went into the IRA from your old company? If so, it should’ve been a traditional, and if not it should have been a Roth.
I have both a Roth, and a rollover at Vanguard. Each are labeled as such - so I think if your account was a Roth, it would be clearly labeled.
DISCLAIMER: my rollover was from my standard 401k, not a Roth 401k. And the Roth I started on my own directly with Vanguard - so I don’t have your exact starting scenario.
Hmm maybe it is a traditional then, I know my 401k was traditional. I went back and forth when I did the rollover since I’m a small business now but I can’t remember for sure what I went with. If they ever pick up the phone I will find out
There should be a copy of any paperwork on your online files with Vanguard. I am pretty sure they keep all of that. Did you pay any taxes when you did the rollover? I think you would have had to pay taxes unless it was a Roth 401k you rolled into a Roth at Vanguard.
All of the online files I’m seeing just say “Rollover IRA”. I didn’t pay taxes when I did it so maybe it is traditional. It was a long time ago and before I had Bobbin and remembering things like that is a thing of the past for me haha
Update: It must be traditional since on one account page I have a “convert to Roth” option. That was harder than it needed to be to find.
