Quite silly, only sort of actually about a dog, but for some reason, my oldest really likes this weird book

I both love and sometimes hate this book :joy: my children love it unflinchingly

I had that doggies one memorized in 2020, but my kid who loves dogs didn’t love that one (is that why he was slower to count???)

It was fun to “read” all the barks. Being silly with children is the best.

Biscuit is reliable but not flashy. I get it haha

I think a Biscuit book is the first one Daughter really ever read on her own. So I have sentimental feelings about Biscuit.

Biscuit was definitely just ordered from Thriftbooks. Also a copy of Dr Hilda Makes House Calls because I read that when I was little and I apparently have a need!

You all are fabulous children’s books sommeliers, I am here with a specific request! Have you seen: a book that is about weddings and is either about two grooms or a combo of different couples (not just bride + groom), AND is not written to explain that gay people can get married?

I’m looking for a book to help explain good wedding reception behavior, but I don’t want to confuse my kid who mostly hangs out with gay people.

Yes! Something about celery one second, it was SO cute.

“The flower girl wore celery”. It’s a two bride Jewish wedding but that’s not like, the point, and it’s very cute and silly.

Mollys tuxedo is also great (little girl doesn’t want to wear a bridesmaid dress) but I think it’s a straight couple but I’m not sure. Just generally plugging the book cuz Latte was obsessed with it for a long time, even though it doesn’t fit your prompt here lol.

We have no wedding books but I think multiple sounds like a great way to address it! Some dinner out books also have etiquette. Frogggggy has a dinner out one but I can’t remember if I’ve read it. Those usually have a youtube read aloud

My brain is fuzzing on the title but there’s one by Paul Castle about two penguins who make cakes for weddings but it’s not remotely about etiquette. (Mo is distinctly uninterested in this book so I can mail it to you if you want)
