I 100% support buying things you like that work for you in multiple colors. Not that you need approval or validation for it but I find it interesting that many hugely successful fashion designers (Michael Kors, Karl Lagerfeld, etc) advocate this and practice it themselves by either wearing the exact same thing most of the time or having a specific formula hat they use for dressing and hardly stray from. It just works.

ETA: you guys all seem so cool when I look at your clothes. I am glad I met you on the anonymous internet and not in person first or I don’t think I’d have had the courage to talk to everyone!
My Wednesday, been-sick-for-a-week look is a snuggly kitty jumper, boot cut jeans and my favourite brown boots from Birkenstock of which I have 2 pairs, because they are the perfect plain chocolate brown colour to feel fancy as fuck but also casual when needed. This week the top has changed but I’ve worn the same jeans and swapped the boots for a different pair of boots between favourite boot days.
