@AllHat I go through SO much hair product, and my hair is not even that long, it’s just a little past my shoulders. But I have a shampoo, a cowash, a leave in, various styling products, and deep conditioners. I’m so happy with my hair now that I’ve learned all of the products that work for it, but like…it’s so much stuff, especially the amount of leave in conditioner, and deep conditioner I go through. I want to be a hair minimalist, but I think curly hair just doesn’t make that possible!

I have a bit of a love hate relationship with this cardigan. I feel like I should look very chic when wearing it, but photographic evidence from family snapshots is not aligned. And it has mends all over. Which makes it perfect for wfh days. Maybe they just don’t know my best angles.

I agree, shorter would be better. But I really love the tactile experience of wrapping myself up, and those always seem to be longer than ideal from a visual impact perspective.

What I have discovered about myself during quarantine is that I have basically 2 settings when it comes to clothes: 1. Fully dressed with a completed Outfit in some sort of coordinated fashion that is generally a bit fancier than what is needed or expected for what I am doing. or 2. SlothGoblin. Alternate between the comfy leggings that are a bit too stretched out and the circa 2001 fleece sweatpants with AERO written across the ass plus some sort of tank top. Giant knit cardigan also possible depending on weather and if Husband has turned on the fan.
There is no middle ground.

At least you have more than 1 setting. I’ve been living the SlothGoblin life full time for the past 4 weeks. Work meeting? No problem, I just make sure I’m wearing a different hoodie than I was the day before! haha.

I am forgetting to brush my hair. It just lives in a lopsided bun on top of my head until I wash it and then it goes back to the bun. Who even is this person? I used to never go downstairs without at least some concealer and mascara on. Now I’m just like…meh. I am a SlothGoblin with a Zombie face due to genetically imposed dark undereye circles.

I think everyone is getting to that point. Last week my boss only used video in 2 out of 8 meetings because she said she didn’t feel like doing her hair or changing out of PJs. I thought it was hilarious that she admitted that. I don’t do my hair, or change out of PJs (well I put a “nice” hoodie over them so no one can tell) but I still use my video because I have no shame.
