End of day photo because the morning was cold and this led to much huddling under covers and almost being late to work. Also I orginally wore cute black riding boots with this outfit, not just the thick socks.

I don’t know how this skirt seems to have fit me since was 16(and a very different size) but I’m glad it has because I always feel a little bit fancy wearing it

I’m impressed you even own a warm coat like that. I bet it’s like your suitcase, it only comes out of the closet for trips.

The coat was purchased at an end of season crazy sale at Express years and years ago. I think I paid $35 for it? It generally lives at the very bottom of the winter clothes plastic bin, but I’ve found it handy on the rare occasions I’m forced to venture to the lands of cold and ice.
2 days ago I was wearing a bikini and lying on a beach in south florida and now I am here, wearing 2 pairs of fleece tights over each other and debating how many layers I can wear under my sweater before I look like the staypuft marshmallow man.

I can relate. I used to live in the hot as hell desert and was completely put out by cold weather. I was so cold my first few winters here in Portland, which is really very mild as cold goes. Still, I was freezing my ass off! 
I have a few pieces of clothing like that. How does that happen?
