OOTD: Share Your Looks!

Loved both!!! You always look so good.

I wanted to share my ‘Chaz (or Burke) Pennington’ look.
He’s an imaginary character that lives in my head and I occasionally accidentally embody his wealthy white 46 year old cis male golfer look.

I love it? Unclear why.
But hi  here’s my OOTD!

You look like you’d offer to buy me a drink at the club while wearing your wedding band.

Love it  that is a dope jacket tho for real. Thrifted?

Awww thank you. Helluva compliment and precisely the vibe. Yep, it’s thrifted.

Great find! I love color blocked sleeves like that.

Amazing. But the name is actually Nathan and he talks about how you and me together would be like the Olympics.

I feel like the over ear headphones and fingerless gloves take this from cozy to cozy cyberpunk. Just need my VR goggles and hover car and I’ll be living in the future, baby.

Ohh I love the polka dot hoodie so so much!

I guess it isn’t that surprising given the sweatshirt I am currently wearing:

New jeans and the struggle of shoes to work with the silhouette.

Also at 45 should i buy my first belt?

Also, good hair morning. Trying this tuck in trend as a cusp pear person

I think you look great!! I have a short torso so I almost never fully tuck in my shirts but seeing this photo makes me want to try with a cardigan or jacket on top. I love the striped cardigan!

As a fellow 45-year old pear-shaped woman, if you are interested in trying a belt, I say go for it! I rarely wear belts in the post-lockdown world but I used to do so almost every day because I liked the extra polish they gave my outfits.

  1. You do not even remotely look 45! :flushed:
  2. I love the tucked in shirt. It accentuates your waist and looks great with the cardigan on top
  3. I don’t ever wear laced shoes with skinny jeans. I don’t know why but something about it always feels “wrong” to me. On my end I’ve never found a pair that don’t show a few inches of ankle though, so maybe that’s why? I always wear mine with flats or booties. If your shoes feel wrong to you maybe try one of those?

I like the entire outfit on you! The shoes stand out a little bit, but to me that is not a problem because they are fun shoes.

these shoes are actually the ones I landed on because the booties I had planned on didn’t look right. I think if I had been up for heels it would have been better, but I had a 5km walk in each direction. These jeans have less taper at the ankle which changes the boots I like with them (or maybe because they aren’t as cropped? idk)

I need more runner options, but as @smacky says, I always seem to be looking for new runners.

And I’m only 45 for a week. Then you can say I don’t look 46.

As always, I love your shoes. They’re giving vintage bowling shoes and I would 100% wear them. I think they look good with the jeans!

You always need new runners because you are always wearing out your runners, because you walk a ton. There is no mystery surrounding your perpetual need for new shoes.
I, on the other hand, almost never need new runners because I avoid walking whenever possible. There are downsides to this but it does save on shoes.

it’s Casual Friday and unseasonably warm

I love this jacket, but perhaps long drop shoulder jackets do not love me?

I agree with you. It is a cute jacket tho!

I don’t think it’s the most flattering style on you. Dropped shoulders and raglan sleeves don’t work for me. Something about my narrow shoulders and wider hips.
