i like these belts but i feel like the wider ones are maybe too big for your frame? it looks like maybe you have a shorter vertical distance between your bust and waist, and the wide corsety belts are wider than the space available on your torso?
I need shoe sizing advice. I bought these sandals from stitch fix. Do I need to go up half a size? I always have trouble with sandals because I’m not constrained by the toe area to “feel” if they are too small, but then I see how they fit other feet and feel self conscious that mine look weird because they are too small. These are very comfortable and the bottom of my heel doesn’t overhang, but the back of my heel is off the back of the shoe. Should I exchange for a bigger size?
I’d try a half size up (sold shoes for a few years) they look a tiny bit narrow as well. I think you’re also feeling they’re small because your big toe is a lot longer than your other toes, so your other toes are comfortably in the sandal but the big one is kind of teetering on the edge.
I know! They are so cute. I only have a pair of athletic slides, and then a pair of gold straps sandals from target (which are also too small ). I needed another warm weather footwear option!
I also think they are fine… (and are cute)… if it were me, a half size up from there they would be too big, there would be rubbing, etc. But I am a heathen who does not know fashion, so
Oof, maybe I could take it out a quarter inch on the sides? I’ve never done anything like that before though and it wouldn’t solve the wonky seams around the arms.
It may be more fitted than you are used to, but it doesn’t look too tight. Of course, it needs to pass the sit test too!
It’s easy to take in seams, just follow the original seam. Though if the fabric has faded at all, the newly exposed fabric might be darker / more saturated.
If you don’t love the dress, it might not be worth the effort.
OOTD yesterday and today! I have to plan each outfit with and without a sweater because different areas of our building are drastically different temperatures! It’s easy with dresses.
