It’s a neighborhood pool that we paid for the use of for the season. So it’s not private, but it’s not completely public, either. Still, it’s pretty busy with all the neighborhood kids. But it’s also better than no pool!
This rug is very cute.
That is cute! Have you settled on a nursery theme?
Not really! It’s kind of a general “cute animals” theme atm but I’m still interested in a subtle Stardew theme lol. My main focus right now has been getting the larger furniture items we need second hand. For some reason it feels hard to plan decorations without the larger items in place.
Just a public service announcement that the Eighth Generation towels (and other gorgeous things) are on sale and I may buy some beautiful towels.
Does it count if you saw the object and bought the object without seeking OMD approval?
Time to show us what you got.
As long as you share with the class
So our new house is walking distance to 4 or 5 Op Shops (thrift shops). Introducing my new stoneware set:
I retroactively endorse this purchase.
Isn’t it lovely? Its Japanese - Nagoya Shokai Stoneware, I put it at late 70s early 80s. Not worth that much but a lovely thing and I needed it.
I’m reminded of the memes about just how BROWN the 80s actually were.
This one:
(I tease, they are lovely. I just definitely guessed 80s. It’s a very 80s brown)
Haha I grew up in a late 70’s built, early 80’s furnished house. Brown carpet, brown velvet modular sofa, dark brown post and rail furniture, timber kitchen, brown lino, brown roof and gutters, brown tableware, burnt orange floor length curtains
Mrs PDM and I share realestate listings of unrenovated houses from the 60s and 70s with the comment “perfect. Change nothing.”
We looked at so many very, very brown unrelated 70s and 80s houses when house hunting.
A lot of words to say they’re perfect.
Yes, but now everything is grey so it’s not like Current Times can be too snooty about the 80s!
FACTS!!!
