Which one did you get, and do you recommend it? I’ve been eyeing the gorilla carts at Bunnings
Yes please, I also need the deets. We’ve been looking at them for 2 years but haven’t actually had time to trial and pick one.
We got a Wanderer quad fold from Macpac, also sold at BCF I believe (maybe the same company?). We went with this one because to folds very small, has substantial wheels for sand, has straps for an umbrella and a large weight capacity. The folding small was key, as we have a hatchback which with two kids is pretty tight on space. We’ve only taken it out three times so can’t really speak to its longevity but so far so good. Quick to assemble and makes packing and unpacking easier .
Our neighbour has one from bunnings which he has had for a few years and he was very positive about.

Instagram marketing has my number again
I literally have no use for this but NEED it
How else am I going to start my hamster furniture business???
Yes! This is what I’m submitting as a business plan.
I wish I were that cute when I cram food into my mouth.
I bet you are
I promise I’m not, but I keep practicing.
Oooooh that could make me very happy
I just lost like 20 minutes to watching adorableness
I’m getting a squirrel picnic table for Christmas. It was advertised on FB…
Those are cute! Maybe if I got my squirrels a picnic table and fed them nuts they would stop eating my flowers.
I think it will probably just attract more squirrels but they’ll be cuter for a while.
A month ago, I was worried about spending $20 on journaling supplies. Now I’m seriously considering getting a $500 concertina. Do I know how to play the concertina? no. Do I want to? yes
They’re beautiful and apparently very easy to pick up!! And I could practice and accompany shanty songs… It’s going into the purchase holding pen.
For the concertina nerds
I’m looking at getting an anglo-germanic concertina with C/G tuning, which apparently is best suited for irish, shanty songs, and playing by ear. I’ve heard some eeeeeh stuff about hohner on the web, so I would like to avoid their concertinas, but that does mean paying a lil more and going through non-main dealers.
On the more expensive side of beginner concertinas, I’m looking at the McNeela’s Wren, which costs about $564. There’s also the Concertina Connection Rochelle which is about $445 (but is on back order).
The Wren is also wood, while the Rochelle is plastic. The Wren has steel reeds, the Rochelle, unknown. They both come with learning guides written and recorded specially for the instrument. [Edit:] There are definitely used vintage concertina’s out there, but as a beginner who can’t see the instrument in person, it seems safer to get from a reputable seller. Both are likely part of the site’s buy-back/upgrade program, so I could upgrade. If it’s a piece from the program, it’s likely seen some use before, so I don’t have to feel too bad about the production.
I’m leaning towards the Wren, because… pretty… but boy howdy do I need to consider if I’ll stick with it.
I’d really like a dehydrator.
For initially making black garlic, but drying herbs and berries would be handy too.
I’ve instead settled for a $19 slow cooker with a keep warm function.

Here’s hoping the keep warm function is ~60⁰C for the required Malliard Reaction to occur in the garlic.
But I still want that dehydrator.
I really want one of these custom puzzles. From, say, Nov 8th 2020…
