Ours was a 8ft version of that, bought as floor stock from Myer Coorparoo back when that existed. It’s still kicking, having survived cats chewing on it, kids falling into it and multiple house moves.
It’s the one thing I don’t mind seeing in my garage as it’s konmari approved.
Now that I have been designated “strategically remote” at my job (corporate speak for “when it’s safe you can come in if you want and hot-desk but you don’t have to if you don’t want to”, I need a decent home office chair that doesn’t hurt my back, hips, and ass.
Who has one they love that isn’t leather and ideally is less than $200?
No recommendations here but I would also like to find one. I did get a sit stand desk adapter (one of those that sit on top of the desk) for about $120, but my chair is not great. I need a chair with seat depth adjustment, but I haven’t come across any that aren’t $$$
My husband had 7 hours of telecons today in the 10’ x 10’ office we share. My 1 year old screamed for me to pick him up every time I ventured out of the office to go to the bathroom or get coffee. I can hear my parents judging my habits when they talk to each other in the living room.
My desk is too small. My ears hurt from the earbuds and “noise-cancelling” headphones that I was rotating between today.
That’s all. New house isn’t going to happen, but I felt the need to say it instead of losing it at my family, who all mean well and are doing their best.
We decided to buy two of these to have matching desks in the living room that will give more useful work space while using less floor space than currently, because one of our current desks is this oak monstrosity that sticks out way too far from the wall.
I want a new immersion blender. Specifically, I want a new, working version of my old immersion blender that I had for ages and that finally broke beyond repair. I have a new, extensively-researched immersion blender that should be better in every way, but I don’t like it as much as my old one. I even stopped making protein shakes for breakfast because I don’t like using the new immersion blender.
I ended up buying it. I probably won’t be motivated enough to sell the new one, but I could probably give it away. As long as it doesn’t just collect dust I’ll call it good.
So after going on eBay for the first time in years to purchase this immersion blender I am getting targeted eBay ads with products I might be interested in. Those products are:
A Trump flag
A girdle
A pair of fake testicles to hang off the back of your bike seat. Like truck nuts, but for bikes.
The ones I’ve seen usually also light up in flashes, so it’s a type of rear light as well. They’re strangely mesmerizing to ride behind with the swaying and light pattern
