I have a perfectly good electric kettle but…
That is the prettiest electric kettle I have ever seen.
We have this I love it. When we did pour overs for all our coffee, it was the best thing ever.
(Then we had a baby. Now we have a OXO barista brain to do pour overs for us haha)
I can’t look at my countertop without daydreaming about it
Endorsement! Yes! I can talk myself into it.
Automation FTW!
I want that temp control baaad
I live with an electrical engineer and we both love coffee. We end up with many fancy electric objects
But yeah, it’s lovely to be able to set the precise temperature for tea or coffee. If you’re the sort of person who weighs your coffee beans, I think you would find it quite pleasing
Oh very pretty!
That is beautiful kettle! We need a new kettle badly, this might be my new kettle.
I’m moving in two weeks. Therefore my brain has decided it wants to buy ALL THE BOOKS. Specifically hardcover books about embroidery and needlepoint. Oh dear.
I’m also lusting after a new sewing machine…yarn…all the craft supplies, basically. And halloween candy. I want my own stash of halloween candy. (CVS trip scheduled for Nov 1, I think…)
So I bought the Stagg after trying it at @Bracken_Joy’s place, but ended up hating it! It has a small capacity and the lid kept popping up off and spilling from the top when I poured. And the plastic black casing off-gassed and still had a smell after two weeks. I ended up selling it on eBay.
I ended up getting this and I like it a lot. They also have it in the gooseneck spout but I like the bigger spout for tea!
Thank you for the review and rec!
For the sale of our rental property to go ahead without any drama llama and free up cash so we can buy land.
A watercolour painting of my childhood cat (I might have already ordered it )
Noise-canceling headphones that:
- have no microphone
- have no wireless connectivity of any kind
- have no USB connectivity
- are inexpensive
Recommendations? They don’t actually have to be great at noise-canceling, just a couple steps up from earbuds.
A beach cart.
I never understood the point, until going to the beach with a baby and three year old. Somehow the amount of stuff we take has quadrupled? A cart would make life so much easier. My in-laws live close to the beach so it would get used a lot. I suspect it could also be useful for park trips too.
Oh oh I want this
I think I want this shower chair. It has no arms but then, neither does the short step stool I’m currently using to sit on in the shower. Plus the only other options I can find involve waiting for the post, and I could have this one on the weekend.
