Objects of Desire

There is a pretty good chance that I’ll buy it at 3am when I’m awake and my guard is down. It almost happened last night but I couldn’t pick between the expensive dress or the expensive picnic rug I posted here ages ago, and then fell asleep with them both in shopping carts…

I could just live in this until April. Never shower so I never took it off. Good plan?

But how would you go to the bathroom?

Today’s object of desire for me is one of those inflatable trex costumes but instead of an inflatable costume I want it to be pajamas and in two pieces so I can pee without getting mostly naked. And at that point it’s pretty far away from the original concept.

My snowsuit has a bathroom access flap. Your t rex costume can have one, too.

I want this. It’s from the Tim Burton bar in NYC:

I need more sweaters, right? It’s getting cold.

Really unclear why this turned up as a book recommendation for me, but I now have a very strong desire to get this for my niece. Who is all of six months old (still haven’t gotten to meet her, thank you covid), and neither of her parents would get it, but it looks so cute

Hmm buy direct or ETFs? Decisions decisions… (Maybe switch some of my retirement money in Super to this?)

I liked ETFs when we had them. I do not like the tax return I’m putting off doing because I need to work out capital gains on a heap of tiny distributions.

Yes, It’s the tax return after selling them that is putting me off getting more. I am definitely interested in the simplicity of “don’t think about it when you do need to sell later because you bought in tiny parcels”…

I want a fancy home workout system that is based on magnets and resistance, so it takes up very little space while giving me opportunities for feedback from Skynet evaluating my exercise mechanics.

I had been considering a patio heater for safer covid winter visits, and pulled the trigger on this today.

Someone or something that cleans my bathtub for me.

I bought those bathroom scrubbing drill attachments for that reason.
