I have WAY more regular bras than that, not even counting sports bras. I can’t even imagine how often I’d have to do laundry with only two bras. And mine are the heavy-duty, spend $50 on sale kind.
So I vote for getting the aerie bras and being done with it.
Oh I rotate between bras, but I only wash them maybe every 2-5 wears, so it works out to getting washed weekly or so?
I do have a lot of sports bras which I have to wash every time because I get very sweaty in them. I have a ton though - maybe 6? I could check the exact number in my spreadsheet. I’ve slowly acquired a lot of activewear. I still can’t believe the year I worked out 310 days of the year, I was also not buying clothing, and I only had one pair of leggings and one sports bra. I’m impressed with my past self. But no more. Lots of activewear has been acquired.
Oh!! I came up with a plan after I figured out I was looking up the wrong search terms on poshmark. and now there’s LOTs of aerie bras on poshmark, for between $8-$25. They’re about $23 on the website right now because they are half price.
I am going to buy a BUNCH of bras on sale on aerie in different styles - get the free shipping. See if I like them/they fit, send back what I don’t like or don’t love (returns are free even on bras) and then will look on poshmark and ebay and get the sizes that work.
I have spent $231 now at aerie, on bras in all different styles because it occurs to me I have no idea what I actually like since I get nearly everything second hand. I will then return most, if not all, of them.
I have had boobs for 19 years and yet apparently I don’t know what bras I need…
I want this tiny, perfect house with a tiny, manageable mortgage, and I want myself to have made better money decisions over the past 5 years, and to not have 9 months left on a lease so I could have a secure place to live that is all mine, where I can have all of the cats and all of the dogs.
