Objects of Desire

I love mine. I hope it works for you, too.

I want an overlocker, and enough soundproofing in our office that I don’t wake the kiddo while he’s sleeping.

Not to be an enabler but the industrial ones are pretty quiet. And they come with a table so more room for projects!

I don’t have room for an industrial one :sob:

It arrived and it is marvelous. I wore the same pants as the day of the vanishing wallet, the white jeans with 2.5" deep pockets, and I came home with a wallet! Also, I’m sure it’s as bold a fashion statement as a pocket protector.

If you get shot in the pocket region it might save your life!

I want fancy sunscreen. Which I may buy, because sunscreen is necessary and I don’t wear it enough.

I wear sunscreen a lot more after trying several and finding a couple of fancy ones I like.

I definitely want you to have and wear fancy sunscreen. And your comment made me realize that my fancy sunscreen is Australian. Or at least its name is. Probably marketing; it will be fancy to me if it’s Australian. I don’t know if it’s really considered fancy but it’s tinted and all mineral and goes on nicely and doesn’t dry tacky and isn’t smelly, so I like it. And it’s not expensive, so yea for Aussies!

Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen

Ooooh that does look nice!

I suspect just marketing? I’ve never seen it in the stores here.

Australian Gold is a subsidiary of New Sunshine LLC, which is owned by Indianapolis-based investment firm MH Private Equity LLC. MH Private Equity has financial backing from hardware superstore entrepreneur John Menard and is led by Steve Hilbert, the co-founder and former CEO of the insurance giant CNO Financial Group Inc.

MH Equity acquired New Sunshine in 2005 and two years later bought two competitors to become the leading supplier of tanning lotions to the more than 12,000 indoor tanning salons across the country. Its brands include Australian Gold, Designer Skin, Swedish Beauty and California Tan

But it does look like a good product. I hope I haven’t ruined it.

Oooh.

I use the “invisible zinc” when I want a thick mineral sunscreen with no scent, and SunBum for a nice smelling chemical sunscreen.

I use this for my face:

And then just slather on what ever is cheap and around for arms, and anywhere else.

I am disappointed they no longer carry Minnesota PastyWhite
