I understand the actual difference between legacy contamination versus new contamination from stored water, but saying that there’s no contamination in the ground when they find a radioactive wasps nest seems… iffy lol.

OK this is more of a fun one. I don’t fully endorse it because it sounds like some of the llamas get stressed out, but… how ridiculous. And creative.

I’ve done this! One of my llamas handled it better than the other one but neither were too stressed. I won a couple of years in a row (not in Minnesota, but also as part of 4H).

They livestream it! Tonight (Wed 8/27) at 6pm central!
We went last year and it is delightful. We petted some of the llamas and chatted with some of the 4-H kids afterwards and one of them was sad because her llama didn’t like his costume so she had to withdraw because he was stressed out. So it seems like they are pretty attentive to the llamas’ well-being.
They also do a llama public relations obstacle course where they are judged on how good the kids are at having the llamas interact with the public. That is Thursday at 5 central
