salmon on a bun needs a very good sauce and the bun to be toasted

What qualifies as a very good sauce? A green thing blended with garlic and oil? Fresh chilli garlic crisp? Mayo? I also have the ketchup/mustard/relish three pack

Anything you like but I’d prefer something mayo-based, or creamy. And I love dill with salmon.

those are good. also very good in my opinion with salmon on bread is a mango chutney or mango salsa. a bit of coleslaw or cucumber is also good to add some textural interest.

Salmon patties are fabulous on a bun, just in case you need to know. They need mustard.

What the hell do I do with this giant tub of cottage cheese? Recipes needed. Actual recipes, not just “top with fruit and eat”.

Mix well with cut up banana and a tablespoon of honey.

It’s that’s too much like just topping with fruit, make flatbread: https://theoregondietitian.com/2-ingredient-cottage-cheese-flatbread/

Stir it into pasta sauce

I like it scooped onto a rice cake with cucumber slices. Does that count as a recipe?

Cottage cheese is weirdly good dolloped onto a bowl of pasta with red sauce.

It’s very excellent in an omelette also.

Here are some other recipes that might hit your desire for some carbs, too:

Pancakes? This one only takes three ingredients. I haven’t made the linked recipe specifically but I’ve made cottage cheese pancakes before and enjoyed them.

I have it in the first place to put in pasta sauce but I can only eat so much of that!
Did I mention Boyfriend bought the giant one? To be fair, I didn’t tell him not to, and Aldi tends not to have small sizes of dairy things. Like, you have to buy the gigantor tub of greek yogurt there too and I can never finish that off.
