I have never seen a 3-D printer nor seen anything 3-D printed. I’ve just heard that people make little parts.
It’s kind of like the Loch Ness monster to me (There is certainly a better analogy. I’m just tired so I’m using that one.)

We have a little statuette of dh as Yoda that someone 3D printed. I would not say it was a high quality plastic. Lol
But they also had a bio printer in tye lab to study printing skin, so I guess there’s a range….

I’ve got 3 local friends who have them. It is mostly silly trinkets that get printed. I have been meaning to get them to print me some custom drawer dividers though. My cutlery drawer is an odd size and I’ve just been living with a bit of a mess.

My hot take is that I hate it when people do phone calls on speakerphone in public. Even worse, Facetime. I know it’s an extremely widespread practice so sorry if anyone here does it, but I truly do not understand the purpose!

I had a friend 3D print these forms for my spice drawer and they are perfect and I love this way of organizing my spices so much. Most 3D printed things from friends are not this useful.
