I just bought a 3 pack of socks, and I thought they were all the same solid colour, but no, subtle stripes at the top. Nobody but me will notice, and even if they did, they wouldn’t care, but still, I feel compelled to match.
My hot take is my kids socks don’t need to match ![]()
My kids’ socks don’t match, but they would if the company facilitated it
My hot take is that no one’s socks need to match!
My hot take is that socks are the devil
Freedommmmm for toessssss
My hot take is that bare feet outdoors are great (as long as you’re on sand/grass/leaf mulch etc. and not, like, hiking in a volcano) but once you have human-made surfaces involved you need socks or shoes. Feet full of mud from running around the woods barefoot = great, the slightest crumb underfoot from walking around your house barefoot = nightmare.
And socks don’t need to match, but sock companies need to offer some multi-pair options that are truly identical socks, not this nonsense with being identical except for different color stripes or whatever.
I need them to feel the same on both feet at least. If one is more stretched out than the other or a different style I’d constantly be adjusting them without thinking about it.
Ooooh I’ll bite. My hot take = socks at all times all day every day.
Hell, I sleep with them on.
I think I was too feral as a kid & now I overvalue not being barefoot ![]()
i used to be like you. then i started gardening and my be-sandaled feet got so filthy i couldn’t actually get them clean
so now i wear socks and shoes when gardening at least. toes are free otherwise!
Summer is for filthy hobbit feets. That’s my lukewarm take.
