Rowing at the gym and walking for errands.
I walked in to work, but wussed out midway through the walk home and got on the streetcar because it was so chilly.
I missed the past 2-3 days of arm weights, but I will do those and some stretching now. My knee started complaining about planks and downward dog, so I’ve taken them off the list for now.
OMG THE SIDE PLANKS.
I did them. But if they had lasted one second longer I would have collapsed. Arms. So. Weak.
Between the two of you, that very much sounds like I need to start doing side planks.
After a couple of hours of rest, I also did my physio exercises today. 2/14 days in a row done (since I did them yesterday at the physio).
Super sore from my last workout, so I’m putting off my week 7 day 1 workout i was supposed to do today. Instead, I’m going to make a point to walk a good amount and try and work out some of the soreness.
Today, probably jack shit other than my normal walk to and from the train. We’re getting a storm.
But yesterday, I walked to and from Aldi hauling groceries in my cart on wheels, and then made 4 trips up and down the stairs to get everything into my apartment. I was sweating and hot after that even though it was like 16 degrees F out!
More snow today, 30 minutes of shoveling SUPER heavy snow. Plus yoga.
Nice walk during lunch
Bench day. 280 x 4 x 4 working sets on bench press, then over head pressing and shoulder isolation work.
The really great thing about it is my shoulder is less painful than it’s been in almost a year. Soon I’ll be back to full strength on this stuff!
I have been working all week, so that has been my movement. Today I have dialed back plans and I will take the recycling out and also do Kaps of the hallway before final bedtime and that is good movement
This is worth so much celebration!
I couldn’t let today be the third day with no movement, so I started on YWA, day 1. She talks so much! I remember now why I haven’t been following her videos. Today I found playing on 1.25 speed was about right for me, letting myself get behind her on occasion, then catching up on the movements while she talks about the next thing.
But thanks to this thread I moved today!
Oooh I really like this framing! I tend to be more on the “well I’ve missed two days, why bother?” side of things, so this would be a good adjustment for me.
So I’ve still been doing plenty of walking each day, but I’ve fallen behind on stretching and foam rolling. Will remedy that this weekend, plus hopefully hit the gym tomorrow and do either rowing machine or elliptical.

First day back to climbing in like a month
Also did hip abductor exercises (with exercise band)!
Skipped a day of physio because we played in the garden so much and I was exhausted. The exhaustion was explained by sniffles this morning.
Up to 4/14 for my physio. Tomorrow I’ll skip 5 and do 6. Time for some bonus yoga.
