I don’t wanna today. I got a vaccine and now feel a bit weird and kind of achy, and I’m choosing not to. Tomorrow is another day.
Push-ups today, partly in hopes of helping to deal with a sore arm from the vaccine. May have helped, but it was already getting better this morning when I did them, so hard to be sure.

I haven’t been keeping track of when I tidy things, but I have done my morning and evening skincare every day this week and can recall specific days where I’ve done 10+ minutes of tidying.
Star Wars Pomsquad class.
It was VERY loosely Star Wars-themed - but they did play a remix of the Imperial March and a remix of the cantina song. Did you all know there were dance remixes of these? I did not!
Also there was trivia in between songs.
I did – I had them on vinyl in the late 70s.
I did my thing everyday for the first week of feb.
I even upped the commitment by cracking open this fancy notebook I had been hoarding in a box for years, refilled my fountain pens, and did some planning over a pot of tea
I have stretched and gone outside except the day we had smoke.
Despite the setback of “I woke up late and my bike tire was shitty today,” I have done every day this week so far!
I am up to date on my decluttering challenge, 21 things to go (not all gone yet due to lockdown).
So far pretty good. Yesterday it was freezing rain the whole time I was awake before leaving for pet sitting then a 10 hour shift, so I did an indoor exercise session rather than walking Woody, and Sweaty got his walk. It was nice in the evening, but I didn’t get home till 8pm and it was kind of a sucky day, so I was glad to have done the indoor workout for him. Otherwise, we’ve been sniffing a lot of neighborhood snowmen and it’s been great!
I’ve left my house every day this week. I even went for a walk in a snowstorm.
I’ve been powering down around nine and going to bed around 10! I often need a 15 min grace period because of Life, but I still think that’s better than watching Netflix til 1am!
I will say I’m still not really waking up any earlier, my sleep is still sometimes garbage, and I’m still pretty tired during the day. 🤷
I have to do at least 3 loads of laundry today - does “going up and down stairs multiple times carrying heavy things” count as “do some sort of physical activity daily”?
Does the answer change if it’s 7 with a -7 windchill out and these are outdoor stairs? Surely that wins me points…

We’ve been doing well over here! Walks and PT, check. Lots of reading. No amazon purchases until today, and the whole bundle is baby supplies so it’ll get categorized in mint in a week when it finally posts correctly. Sigh. (Hate mint but I hate everything else more lol!)
I have not been doing great
So far I’ve gone outside 3/6 days and only stretched 2/6 days (and one if those was during a scheduled pilates lesson lol).
But…it’s been a really long/tough week between house buying activities and the baby. I’m going to count it as a win and try to do better going forward.
OK then! I made 5 trips up and down the stairs, most of which involved carrying heavy things down and up. Whew.
I seem to have pulled something in my shoulders/back in either last night’s class or Thursday’s yoga. It is owie. So I think I’m going to do some gentle stretching of that and otherwise call it good.
i am 6/6 on brushing my teeth and have bought myself an all-pink electric toothbrush as a Reward (I also brushed my teeth for 31/31 days in January!!). i am regrettably 5/6 on Forest trees and trying not to beat myself up too much about it
on a roll so far, been really enjoying the Russian with Max podcast and also getting a good grasp on the finer points of the instrumental case
