All of my daughter’s pacifiers have ended up under her crib in a corner where I can’t reach unless I move a bunch of things. So I used my trash grabber thingy to retrieve them. She was very upset that she couldn’t put them in her mouth right away.

After some devastating (to me) updates from the school today, I did a productive thing to help instead of wallowing. I made visual aids with B1 and he is already studying them.

Party favors that are easy and don’t just get thrown away immediately??

We usually skip them but are considering them this time for reasons and I need ideas.

For me, I’d go consumables.

For what age?

If you make a little baggie, fruit snacks are usually winners and take up space. Temporary tattoos (cut up the sheets in advance). Ring pops were popular for us once. Fun pencils, erasers. One year we did invisible ink pens and tiny notebooks as part of the offerings.

I did play dough, stickers, bath paint/crayons, fun bandaids. I just got to things I thought my kid would like. The target dollar section had a lot of good things.

Plasticine or the other plastic based modelling thing (allergen free); little packets of snacks (goldfish, cookies). Stickers. For just 4 kids you could do one of those activity packs or get a knock off water wow colouring book.

Gummy snacks (allergy friendly easy option), temporary tattoos that match the party theme

:joy: you can get 40 little modelling clay pots for $15 on Amazon and some snacks and kids will be happy. I’m going to steal the cute bandaid idea for a future party.

If you want a child enrichment game that includes matching/sorting and wearing down the child I suggest laying on the couch and having your toddler run back and forth across the room bringing you one shoe at a time :rofl:

I love the blur of tiny feet in the background!

I used to use helium balloons but that’s a lot of kids…

I went to a party once where the kids each got a Hot Wheels car with a piece of snack-sized candy taped to the back, that was a big hit.

Oooo I love that one.

Probably no one would notice if the hot wheels were from the bin at the consignment store.
