We didn’t get far with the heat and yesterday 's sun burn, but we did find another neighborhood park down a back alley that we had only seen on the map before.
Swimming tadpole. Mama laid eggs in my kid’s wading pool, I rescued it when cleaning out the pool but now I have no idea what to do with it.

Not related to any challenges, just crazy. A big old tree broke in half and crushed parts of the trees next to it.
this mouse didn’t want to get off the path and ran all over my shoes. Eventually we convinced it to go into the grass on the other side of the path

I forgot day accomplished. I went out for a walk and couldn’t remember any of the challenges!
Kinda reviving this thread since it wasn’t ridiculously hot out and I went for a walk this morning. Remember when people painted rocks? Anyways, this house has done quite a lot and it’s really cool how when I drive by there is always people stopped and looking at them. The reason I’m posting pics of it is a story my neighbour told me. Seems her kids and the rock house kids are friends, and her kids decided to have some fun and set up a heist. They recorded It, sent ransom emails (The price was Dilly bars from Dairy Queen), were successful and returned them. They posted it all on social media, and the house now has a scan box for people to see it all. Anyways they have done a great job of all the rocks. The cat and cherry pie are my favourite.
We can’t decide if this is our first time down this alley. This denizen didn’t care to participate in our debate.
Backyard skateboarder was out again this evening. I took the photo from the park and didn’t want to be too weird. The half pipe takes up the whole backyard afaict.
I have loved this sign for years. At first I thought it was a very particular font that worked for the Chinese Canadian cuisine it sold, but then looked closer and realized the letters were peeling.
I meant to take photos of it for ages, and finally did last week.
This week the restaurant is gone and the sign painted over.
I went to the park and saw some kids taking their remote control car for a walk.
First halloween decor sighting of the year! This is in the neighborhood that is one of THE neighborhoods for trick or treating and where we went last year with Kiddo.
