Might get #9 done today, depends on energy.
I am going to have just 1 goal:
Get an orthodontist appointment for my teenagers. The one is almost 15, I really need to have them evaluated (dentist says they should see one).
- 2 albums finished (600+ photos)
- many job apps went out this week - no bites
Several WIP that will hopefully be finished in the next week or so, and two bonus tasks done
Filled out workshop leader application for April conference and handed off second workshop to new hire at workFilled out adoption application for local animal rescue (actual visit/potential adoption to happen at the start of next year)
Iâm in!
- Wrap and send gift for friends exchange
- Clean fridge
- Clean oven
- Call internet company to change my current plan
- Complete the process to renew my health card
- Declutter nightstand
If I complete everything I will add tasks, but for now, thatâs it!
Week 1 report: slow progress, but progress nonetheless.
3/6 tote bags finished. Not bad. Not going to make it through my list though. Just too much to do!
Reading the lost book while washing the sleeping bag. Boo-yah! (neither are done, tho)
My goals are to:
- cook and host the Scandinavian dinner and games night, - DONE!
- Work the community table at a craft fair, - DONE!
- finish sewing my original designed tote bags - on # 4/6.
- Finish machine quilting an appliqué quilt,
- Finish a visual journal from a trip taken in 2017!
- Finish spinning my multicoloured yarn. - started spinning skein #2.
- Finish spinning some multicoloured blue yarn.
- Finish Sketchbook Revival 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Add: transferring 11600 photos and videos from iCloud to my SS external hard drive. And, because I didnât organize them before, Iâm doing it at the same time. Itâs very time consuming.
Honestly shocked that this much as been done already!
Progress!

Anyway my business is effectively closed for the year now so I can work on the house without making new messes.
DH also has this benefit. We will push it to 2026 and do it fresh with his insurance instead rather than rush it near holidays
Lucky my mom drove to pick up ravioli today because we could give her the other lamp we were holding in that room. Thereâs enough space now that once we are done with clothes sorting the pack and play can move. Probably after holidays
I keep finding more puzzles. And more random pieces of tupperware. Generally in places neither should be. What the hell.
