It is hats!
i just placed an order from farmer bailey for delphinium and foxgloves to plant out this fall and overwinter
i watched floret’s june diary video this morning and her delphiniums are freakin 3 feet tall and huge! mine are like 12” but at least i got some this year, even though i just threw some seed in a raised bed and hoped for the best. but next year i want big ones if i can get them! blue flowers are so dreamy.
A small cutie for today plus my first dahlia of the year! I just bought it this spring and I love it. I’m putting it in a bouquet to take to my mom tomorrow.
I took this to a client tonight who I loved working with last year. I know that she doesn’t like pink, she was very happy with this.
stunner!!
Am I a terrible flower mom for not liking much this little rose? Ha. It was cheap and it’s been growing well and blooming well, but the flowers just are not pretty.
Here is one of the last lilies of our lily season, ‘Miss Feya.’
There are a lot of flowers that I don’t like or want to grow!
it’s your garden! i bet someone on facebook would come and take it for free.
I’m constantly impressed at the depth of talent in the forum for both growing and arranging flowers. I have tried and failed miserably at growing annuals for cutting. Not sure why but the inconsistent Scottish weather doesn’t help, it’s either endless sunshine for a month (May) or endless rain (June).
However you have all inspired me to make my first attempt at a wildflower arrangement from the ever changing meadow that is our garden.
More practice is definitely required but I enjoyed the process!
That’s so pretty!
they are just gorgeous
how beautiful! look at those cosmos! and the dahlias! and those rudbeckia triloba! i bet your mom was pumped!!
The Rudbeckia is 6-7’ tall!
