Daylilies are ridiculously easy. The only downside is that deer emphasized textlove them so if you are in deer country, they will chew off all the flowers and you’ll never see a flower.
I have my daylilies up on a bed on high wall where deer can’t get to them.

so pretty!! i love those dark purple phlox, too — i just got some seeds for a phlox called blueberry swirl that i’m gonna try to grow that i think look similar!
my pink poker statice has just started producing and i am IN LOVE with it. i only had one seedling survive so i’ve got it in a pot and it’s so cute and wiggly.

I saw the blueberry swirl, such a pretty color! My phlox are all perennials other than the cherry caramel I just started growing this year. The problem with this is that the flower heads get real big and can be hard to arrange in a mixed bouquet. Eden Brothers has a couple of pretty phlox seeds that were out of stock that I will look for again later on.

here’s a couple shots of one i made last night. i tried arranging in my hand instead of in the vase and i liked it! i found the wiggly green grass seed heads in a weedy part of the front slope and i love them so much omg!!

I mean… I told you before that me even attempting to grow annuals is entirely your fault. When I saw your first little bouquets I was hooked after only growing perennials for so many years.
I also found a baby’s breath and a cosmos that I needed. Ha.

OMG. I ordered these seeds based on the only pic they showed which looks down on the flower. I really should have googled pictures of them from other views! The last pic is mine. I have a friend who wants it.
