Flowers! 🌺 🌷 🌸 🌹

Yeah, I’d recommend going with spiderwort/inch plant.

Thanks!

My very overgrown corner garden - the day lilies are a little mashed from the rain we got. And my rose of Sharon shrub I planted this spring. It was just sticks when I planted it and it’s going to get blooms! Very excited to get flowers in the first year. It’s probably common with them but I’m still excited.

I don’t need to post any photos of my flowers, because turtlegirl has them covered. Mine would just be repeats. I guess we have similar taste in flowers.

Sorry. I get a little excited lol.

No need to apologize! It’s like looking at my garden without having to go out in the heat. And I’m terrible about talking/posting photos, so this was not a complaint!

Purple showers (I always knew them as Mexican petunias, I’ll try to remember the other common name going forward)

I have forgotten the name of this plant but the flower is bigger than my hand

Bud form of the nameless flower

Bugs losing their minds with our mint flowers

Pinecone ginger. Can be mixed 1:1 with castile soap to make a shampoo and it smells fantastic.

Not a flower, but muscadine grapes! We got probably three or four cups of them, which marks the first time we’ve ever harvested more than a handful! So now I’m going to look up how to make jam with it or something because they’re loaded with seeds.

That one flower is so cool! I’ve never seen that. And pinecone ginger too!

You can make jelly from the juice, then run the leftover pulp through a food mill and use it to make pie.
